We had our first indoor tournment of the year, and it was a good one. It was located at “The Factory” in Lehi and it was a great facility. We had a lot of fun and had some great teams come out! Here are some pictures for those of you who missed it.

We wrapped up another successful tournament this weekend! The Sandy tournament was the biggest one yet this season and we plan to just keep getting bigger! Here are some pics of the tourney and some of our winners with their prizes from our awesome sponsors!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Ogden to support 3 on 3 Live! Also a special thanks to all of our sponsors for making this all possible!

We had a great turnout Friday evening for the first round of pool play. We had several former college players, including former BYU great- Mekeli Wesley. Unfortunately the basketball gods did not shine upon us on Saturday as rain prevented any games from being played. Shortly after the tournament had been officially cancelled, the sun came out and dried up all the rain….. perfect timing. Each team in the West Valley Tournament was awarded a free team in the Sandy Tournament to make up for the cancelled games. Sandy looks to be huge…. more teams come out each and every week.

We threw our first tournament this last weekend in Ogden, Utah. The event was off the hook. The winning team, “Team Sanchez,” was a local team comprised of former Fremont High School students. The event included a 3-point contest, dunk contest, and one-on-one tournament. Prizes given to the winners of each contest and in drawings totalled more than $1,500. Prizes were courtesy of all of our sponsors, including Rockwell, Zagg, iFrogz, iFly, Flowrider, and iRock… to name a few.

Teams travelled from as far away as Pleasant Grove to compete in the Ogden tournament. Otis Nelson, former Utah State football player said, “That was the funnest 3-on-3 tournament I have ever played in.” We plan on making every tournament better than the last. Comments and suggestions are welcomed (actually encouraged) on the blog, or via Facebook and Twitter.

It’s not too late to check out some of the other local events before we take our tournament on the road. Check back frequently for deals and discounts on goods and tournaments.
